Wragge & Co seals £50 million outsourcing deal

Wragge & Co LLP's outsourcing, trade and technology specialists have advised Royal Liver Assurance Limited on a ten-year outsourcing agreement worth approximately £50 million.
Under the contract, Atos Origin (IT Services) UK Limited will deliver and manage RLA's IT infrastructure, services and applications. The aim is to achieve cost savings, meet regulatory requirements and deliver high-quality IT services.
IT partner Peter Hall and associate Matthew Johnston advised on the contract with assistance from solicitor Olivia Woolston. Kelly Chapman and Suzanne Tyrrell provided advice on employment aspects of the deal. They worked alongside RLA's senior solicitor Charles Krieg, head of legal Cecilia Gannon and specialist IT consultancy Winchester White.
Peter Hall said: "This was a critical project for RLA, requiring in-depth knowledge of the complexities involved in large-scale IT outsourcing deals. We pulled together a team of IT, outsourcing and employment experts to help create the best possible foundation for RLA and Atos Origin to meet their long-term strategic goals."

Wragge & Co has previously advised RLA on large-scale outsourcing projects.
