Wragge & Co LLP has unveiled plans to open an office in Paris. In a move which underlines the firm's international ambitions, Wragge & Co will join forces with a 10-partner team previously part of French independent firm Lefèvre Pelletier & associés.

Subject to approval from the Paris Bar, Wragge & Co's Paris office will open later this year. It will provide high-quality commercial advice and solutions across a range of disciplines. Areas of expertise include corporate, real estate, funds, tax, finance, commercial litigation, corporate recovery, IP and commercial contracts.

Senior partner Quentin Poole said: "This is an exciting development for Wragge & Co; part of an international strategy focused on providing clients with a high-quality service from Wragge & Co offices or trusted best friend firms."

The 10 partners are Pierre Appremont, David Blondel, Pierre-Emmanuel Chevalier, Arnaud Guérin, Laurent Jourdan, Eglantine Lioret, Simon Lowe, Jérôme Patenotte, Henry Ranchon and Philippe Rousseau. Their arrival will take the total number of partners in Wragge & Co's all-equity partnership to 121.

When the new Paris office opens, Wragge & Co will have six offices. These are Paris, London and Birmingham, an EU-law focused Brussels office, and intellectual property-led offices in Guangzhou and Munich.
