Wragge & Co LLP real estate experts have advised brewer and pub operator Marston's PLC on the property aspects of its £330 million securitisation tap issue. The deal involved the transfer of 437 freehold and long-leasehold properties into Marston's securitised estate.

Real estate partner Emma Pioli and associate Stephen White led the team that advised on the property aspects of the deal. The team worked closely with Tim Nash, Estates Manager, and Dawn Callow, Director of Treasury & Risk, at Marston's PLC.

Emma Pioli said: "With 2,272 pubs, property is Marston's main asset and crucial to this deal. Wragge & Co's specialists applied their due diligence expertise to ensure the successful completion of this important deal."

Paul Inglett, Group Finance Director said: "Despite adverse market conditions, the terms of the refinancing demonstrate the strength of Marston's credit profile and the high quality of its pub estate."
