Wragge & Co advises Marston's PLC on £330 million securitisation issue

Wragge & Co LLP real estate experts have advised brewer and pub operator Marston's PLC on the property aspects of its £330 million securitisation tap issue. The deal involved the transfer of 437 freehold and long-leasehold properties into Marston's securitised estate.
Real estate partner Emma Pioli and associate Stephen White led the team that advised on the property aspects of the deal. The team worked closely with Tim Nash, Estates Manager, and Dawn Callow, Director of Treasury & Risk, at Marston's PLC.

FTSE 250 company Marston's operates four breweries - Banks's Brewery in Wolverhampton, Marston's Brewery at Burton on Trent, Jennings Brewery at Cockermouth in the Lake District and Ringwood brewery in Hampshire. Its pub estate totals 2,272 pubs and comprises 1,722 tenanted pubs within Marston's Pub Company and 550 managed by Marston's Inns & Taverns.
