Wragge & Co LLP Pensions Team has won AMEC as a new trustee client. The trustees of the AMEC Staff Pension Scheme and the AMEC Executive Pension Scheme, which have assets of over £1 billion, have appointed Wragge & Co as their exclusive legal advisers.

Partners Richard Black and Vivien Cockerill, assisted by associate Suzannah White, will provide ongoing advice across a full range of pension issues. The team will work with AMEC pensions manager Garry Lloyd.

Richard Black said: "This is an excellent win and exactly in line with our strategy of focusing on large schemes. Our 'one team' ethos with its emphasis on technical excellence and strong commercial experience is a winning combination for clients looking for top-tier pensions advisers. We are really excited about the appointment. We've already started advising on a couple of matters and are enjoying working with Garry and his team."

Garry Lloyd said: "We are very pleased to be working with Wragge & Co. After a thorough review and selection process, the trustees were clear that Wragge & Co was an excellent fit in terms of team and expertise."
