A & J Mucklow Group appoints Wragge & Co as legal adviser
05.07.07
A & J Mucklow Group plc has appointed Wragge & Co LLP as its legal adviser on all real estate law matters.
The move follows the retirement of group solicitor and main board director Peter Petherbridge on 30 June 2007. Peter Petherbridge will remain at A & J Mucklow as a consultant for 12 months to assist in the smooth transfer of the group's legal property work to Wragge & Co.
Rupert Mucklow, A & J Mucklow chairman, said: "We would like to thank Peter for the valuable contribution he has made over the last 33 years and wish him well in his retirement. In Wragge & Co, we have chosen a law firm with a strong reputation for real estate work."
Wragge & Co real estate partner Mark Dakeyne will lead the A & J Mucklow relationship.
Mark Dakeyne said: "A & J Mucklow is a long-established and respected property company. We have known them for some years and Peter's retirement is a fantastic opportunity for us to work more closely together. Their conversion to REIT status allows the current dynamic management to propel the group to the next level of growth and success."
