Pension Protection Fund Ombudsman - first determination

The Pension Protection Fund Ombudsman (PPFO) has issued his first determination in relation to the High-Point Rendel Pension Scheme (Scheme). The PPFO was asked to determine if the Dun & Bradstreet employer failure score (part of the assessment of the risk-based levy), in relation to the scheme, had been correctly determined. The PPFO concluded that the failure score had been correctly determined. The scheme employers had not taken the steps necessary to enable the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) to take into account the failure scores of other scheme employers.
