The UK - no place for product placement

You may recall our previous alert following the UK Government's announcement that it did not intend to allow product placement to appear on British television.

The Department of Culture, Media and Sport is still obliged to open a consultation process. Broadcasters and advertisers should begin to formulate their strategies now, if they are to have any hope of a more permissive approach.  Otherwise they face losing out on a potentially huge opportunity.
