The Court of Appeal has judicially reviewed guidance issued by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) concerning the prescription of certain medicines for the treatment of Alzheimers and held it to be procedurally unfair. This unfairness resulted from NICE's refusal to disclose certain information which it had wrongly claimed to be confidential.
