Wragge & Co advises NVM Private Equity on £17.5 million buyout of Astbury Marsden

Private equity partner Ian Piggin led a cross-firm team assisted by associate Jonathan Tilley, tax partners Neil Pearson and Kevin Lowe, banking and finance partner Kirsty Jefferies and director Chris Gayle. Director Graham Spalding provided additional support on transactional matters. They worked alongside NVM investment managers James Arrowsmith and Peter Hodson.

At the beginning of the year we advised NVM on the successful £16 million recommended offer for Product Support Ltd."

NVM is a firm of venture capital managers with a national network across the UK. It has more than £180 million under management in four venture capital trusts and one private equity investment trust. NVM specialises in making equity investments of between £1 million and £10 million in UK unquoted companies. It backed the buy-out team and provided £5.6 million of the £17.5 million funding. HSBC, advised by Osborne Clarke, provided the remaining funds.
