Display Energy Certificates
20.05.08
Environmental performance is increasingly important to reputation, and the government believes that it is important that the public sector is seen to be setting an example. From 1 October 2008, public authorities and institutions providing public services to large numbers of people must exhibit a Display Energy Certificate in their buildings over 1,000 square metres and which are frequently visited by the public.
The government has published guidance on Display Energy Certificates. For more information, see our analysis.
