This year, Wragge & Co staff have voted KidsOut as our Charity of the Year. This national charity aims to bring happiness to the lives of disadvantaged and sick children by providing positive experiences, toys and specialist play equipment. Wragge & Co's support in 2008 will help them to fund many different projects.

Their current projects include:

• training professional storytellers to bring laughter into the lives of children with special needs, undergoing hospital treatment, or in children's hospices. Storytelling can help them deal with anxiety, illness and bereavement.
• providing a 'box of delights' to children who may have no other possessions.  Many children leave home in the middle of the night with their mother and siblings to escape domestic violence. KidsOut provides brand new toys to children when they are re-housed in a safe, new home.
• providing mobile sensory rooms for children with severe illness or disability, allowing children who may not be able to use traditional play equipment the opportunity to play and explore in a safe and stimulating environment.
• providing 'Funds for Fun', a programme which makes small grants to provide specialist play equipment, days out, holidays and activities for disadvantaged children and their families.
